THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Police have issued a description of a man they are looking for in connection with a weekend armed robbery that left an employee of a north-side business with slight injuries.
The incident occurred Saturday, March 9 at about 8:30 p.m. when the robber, armed with what police described as "an edged weapon," entered the H&R Block tax preparation office on Cumberland Street South.
He confronted a worker and demanded cash, but there was none available. The man fled, leaving the employee with undisclosed injuries which police have described as minor.
The suspect is described as being in his late 30s. He stood about six-foot-two and had a medium build.
The robber wore a black or dark brown leather jacket over a red or orange hooded sweater, dark pants tucked into his boots, and white or pale yellow gloves.
