THUNDER BAY -- Jeff Hunter holds the last three Thunder Bay majors and he's making a concerted effort to add to his impressive streak.

Hunter followed up an impressive five-under 66 on Saturday at Chapples Golf Course with an even par 72 on Sunday at Strathcona Golf Course, giving him a two-day, 138 total and a two-shot lead over Nathan Lepore at the Teleco District Open.

Kevin Jackson is another two shots back, going 70-72 in the first two rounds of the 54-hole event, which wraps up Sunday at Whitewater Golf Course.

Matthew Lysak, who equalled Hunter's 66 on Saturday, is four off the pace, the Thunder Bay North Stars forward carding rounds of 66 and 78. Cooper Anderson, Barry Caland and Nathan Hoogsteen, at two-over 145, round out the top five.
