THUNDER BAY -- Provincial police have charged a woman with impaired after she knocked over a traffic light standard Friday night.
Officials with the OPP say the crash took place on Broadway Avenue at Highway 61 just after 10 p.m.
When officers arrived they found a pickup truck in a ditch. The driver of the truck was said to be double the legal limit of alcohol.
A 47-year-old Thunder Bay woman now has a court date in August to face the impaired driving charge.
