(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 22 year old female for impaired driving.
At approximately 2:30 a.m on Sunday February 21, 2016, police received a complaint regarding a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 658. Police located the vehicle and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. She was transported for further tests. The driver sustained minor injuries.
As a result of this investigation, a 22-year-old Kenora woman has been charged with Driving while Ability Impaired and Driving a Motor Vehicle with more than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
She is to appear in Kenora Court on March 31, 2016 to answer to the charges.
