Injured workers' group to host monthly meeting on Thursday.

The Thunder Bay and District Injured Workers' Support Group isn't sure how long it will have a home.

The Thunder Bay and District Injured Workers' Support Group isn't sure how long it will have a home.

But for now they'll continue to host their monthly meetings at the Lakehead Labour Council, which reports say have been sold to make way for a national pharmacy company to enter the Thunder Bay market.

On Thursday the group will hold what TBDIWSG president Steve Mantis is touting as possibly their final meeting in the facility, featuring special guest Marion Endicott, a senior community legal worker with the Injured Workers Consultants Community Legal Clinic in Toronto.

Endicott intends to share stories from 35 years representing injured workers.

"Everyone is welcome. Get informed. Get involved," Mantis said in a release.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
