Investigation into Alloy Drive death continues

THUNDER BAY – An investigation continues into the death of a man whose body was found along Alloy Drive on Wednesday.

The Thunder Bay Police Service reported Friday it had identified the deceased, an adult male, but was not publicly releasing further information pending a post-mortem and further investigation.

Paramedics, police, and firefighters were dispatched to respond to reports of an unresponsive male in the area, near the Canada Post headquarters, around 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday.

First responders confirmed the man was deceased on arrival, police said.

The scene on Alloy had been released as of Thursday afternoon, with a post-mortem examination scheduled to take place in Toronto.
