THUNDER BAY – Is this city’s first-ever craft beer festival going to be coming back in 2016?
So far the answer appears to be maybe.
"We still are going to have a big debrief from this event and how everything went," said BrewHa! co-host Jon Hendel.
"I'm not making any guarantees but I've been told I'll never be known as the person who started BrewHa! but I'll be known, if I don't bring it back, as the person who cancelled it."
About 2,500 people made their way to Prince Arthur’s Landing this past weekend for the BrewHa! Craft Beer Festival. The event ran in three session, one Friday evening and another two Saturday afternoon and evening.
All three of those sessions sold out completely days before the event kicked off.
Thirteen breweries participated in the event and offered a combined 50 varieties of beer.
Organizers say it is possible there will be a BrewHa! in 2016, but no decisions have been made as of yet.
