Thunder Bay actress Marie Avgeropoulos is joining the Cult.
The television show Cult premieres Tuesday on The CW and tells the story of a journalist and his production assistant investigating mysterious deaths and disappearances around a hit TV show.
The show-within-a-show stars Robert Knepper, best known for his role as T-Bag on Fox’s Prison Break.
Cult also stars Matthew Davis of Vampire Diaries fame, Jessica Lucas, who starred in The CW’s 2009 attempt at Melrose Place, and Alona Tal (Veronica Mars, Supernatural).
Avgeropoulos is listed as a recurring cast member on Wikipedia and IMDb lists her in 10 episodes so far.
The Thunder Bay native's credits include the 2009 film I Love You, Beth Cooper and guest appearances in TV shows like Fringe, Supernatural, Eureka and Human Target.
Cult airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
