Another jury trial taking place in the city has been put on hold following allegations that the jury pool isn't reflective of the area’s demographics.
Another jury trial taking place in the city has been put on hold following allegations that the jury pool isn't reflective of the area’s demographics.

A judge has granted lawyer Chris Watkins' application that challenges the jury in the trial for Krstyna Dolasinski.

Dolasinski was charged with fraud two years ago and jury selection was set to begin Monday.

Now a pre-trial has been set for mid-October.

The ruling comes on the heels of a coroner's report that found a lack of Aboriginal representation on the jury rolls in Northwestern Ontario.
