Jury trial for 2009 homicide case set to begin

KENORA, Ont. -- Three months have been set aside for a homicide trial in this Northwestern Ontario community. Ed Wilson was found dismembered on train tracks in the Keewatin-Kenora area in March, 2009.

KENORA, Ont. -- Three months have been set aside for a homicide trial in this Northwestern Ontario community.

Ed Wilson was found dismembered on train tracks in the Keewatin-Kenora area in March, 2009.

A pre-trial hearing was completed last year, and two local suspects remain in custody pending the outcome of the jury trial.

Thunder Bay lawyer Chris Watkins will make the trip to Kenora to represent one of the accused, 42-year old Ken Ivall.

The trial begins Monday in Kenora.
