KENORA --OPP officers have recovered the Kenora Thistles Stanley Cup banner that was stolen last week.
In two incidents on Aug. 17 and 18, a Canadian flag, Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup flag and the Kenora Thistles 1907 Stanley Cup banner were stolen.
The Thistles banner has been returned to the City of Kenora. It was recovered on Aug. 23 along with the Canadian flag. The Los Angeles banner was found earlier in the week.
Uniform officers, members of the street crime unit and the forensic identification unit continue to investigate the case.
