(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local male for an impaired driving offence over the weekend
On Sunday March 27, 2016 shortly after midnight, members conducted a vehicle stop for a highway traffic violation in downtown Kenora.
Upon further investigation, police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and after the driver failed the roadside test, he was arrested and transported to the Kenora OPP detachment.
As a result of this investigation a 29-year-old Kenora man has been charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle with More than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Kenora Court on April 28, 2016 to answer to the charge.
