Kenora OPP find Oxy after vehicle search

Police in Kenora say they intercepted Oxycodone that was destined for the Fort Frances area Monday. Members of the Kenora detachment of the OPP and drug enforcement unit stopped a vehicle near that community that was heading eastbound on Highway 17.

Members of the Kenora detachment of the OPP and drug enforcement unit stopped a vehicle near that community that was heading eastbound on Highway 17. Police then searched the vehicle.
 
Police say they found more than 55 Oxycodone tablets as a result of that search.
 
Police say they estimate the street value of the drugs seized to be about $5,400.
 
One woman was arrested and charged with trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
