KENORA, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora are investigating after a deceased male was found inside a building following a fire in the city’s downtown core.
According to an OPP media release, officers were dispatched to a structural fire Sunday just before noon on the 100 block of Main Street South.
Kenora Fire and Ambulance also attended and a single deceased male was located inside the building.
Police said no other victims are known at this point but details will be made available as they come in.
The investigation is ongoing and the Fire Marshall will attend the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
