Kenora OPP respond to more than 100 calls over weekend

KENORA — Kenora Ontario Provincial Police responded to 115 calls for service last weekend.

From Feb. 19 to 22, OPP responded to a variety of calls and laid charges under the criminal code and highway traffic act.

Some of the calls police attended to were three alarms, five assaults, four ambulance assistance, two breach of probation, three thefts, four liquor licence acts, three traffic complaints, 12 domestic disputes, 11 police assistance, four police information, three mental heath act calls, seven motor vehicle collisions, two R.I.D.E checks and 18 unwanted persons.

In total, 11 charges were laid by OPP.
