Kenora OPP responded to more than 130 calls over the weekend

Police in Kenora laid a variety of charges from March 19 to March 22.

KENORA — Kenora Ontario Provincial Police responded to 134 calls for service last weekend.

In a news release, police said they responded to several calls from March 19 to March 22 including seven ambulance assistance, four assaults, six bail violations, two impaired offences, seven liquor licence acts, six traffic complaints, six domestic disputes, eight police assistance, 12 police information, two threats, four motor vehicle collisions, three thefts, four trouble with youth and 12 unwanted persons.

In total police laid 17 charges under the criminal code and the highway traffic act.
