Police near Kenora are investigating a fatal, single-vehicle crash that took place on Jones Road Thursday morning.
Kenora detachment police officers closed Highway 17A between the east junction with Highway 17 and Highway 658 as a result of the crash, which police responded to shortly after 8 a.m.
The single motor vehicle had caught fire and was in the westbound ditch when officers arrived. The Kenora Fire department was called to assist.
Police have not released any more details about this crash, including how many occupants were in the vehicle or what kind of vehicle was involved in the crash.
