Timothy Skead matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the May 21 Lotto Max draw to win.
“I like to play Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 when the jackpot gets big,” Skead said.
The father of three checked his ticket using the OLG Lottery App. “I checked it three times just to make sure. I just kept saying to myself no way!”
Skead called his wife to tell her they're debt free.
He plans to purchase a new vehicle, plan a trip and share his win with his children.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Highway 17 in Kenora.
