For the first time in two decades, there's a new chief of the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation.
Longtime chief Donny Morris was first elected in 1994, but decided not to run again this time.
The KI band election was held on Friday, and James Cutfeet took the most votes for chief, beating out two other candidates.
Seven councillors were also elected, with Angus McKay named deputy chief of Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug.
