Lang says farewell on final day as Confederation College president

After serving more than a decade as Confederation College’s president, Pat Lang is saying her final farewell Thursday as she heads into retirement. Lang was appointed as the college’s president in 2000, and said she has never looked back since.

After serving more than a decade as Confederation College’s president, Pat Lang is saying her final farewell Thursday as she heads into retirement.

Lang was appointed as the college’s president in 2000, and said she has never looked back since.

Five new centres have opened up at the college throughout Lang's term, including the Aviation Centre for Excellence as well as the REACH facility.

Lang said she will miss coming to work every day, but is excited for this new chapter in her life to begin.

Lang also said that she doesn't have any immediate plans for her retirement. However, she is just looking forward to enjoying the summer.
