Large quantity of cash stolen in Nakina Airport break and enter

Greenstone OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft at the Nakina Airport. Police, in a release issued on Wednesday, said a suspect broke into the airports financial offices at about between 10:30 p.m. on Monday and 6:30 a.m.

Greenstone OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft at the Nakina Airport.

Police, in a release issued on Wednesday, said a suspect broke into the airports financial offices at about between 10:30 p.m. on Monday and 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday and made off with a large quantity of cash.

Greenstone OPP said the investigation, with the assistance of the Northwest Region Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit, continues.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the OPP at 807-854-1333 or 1-888-310-1122. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
