LETTER: Pedestrians get no respect

It's a shame when motorists whine about being ticketed for traffic violations they knowingly committed. I have been cut off and nearly run down by the many idiots and fools who have no regard for stop signs or crosswalks.

It's a shame when motorists whine about being ticketed for traffic violations they knowingly committed.

I have been cut off and nearly run down by the many idiots and fools who have no regard for stop signs or crosswalks. I am a senior who uses a cane.

If you can't see me in a crosswalk you deserve more than ticket. A license suspension would be more in order.

Maybe then you would have more respect for other people who must also used the roads for something besides motor vehicles.

This also includes cyclists who use sidewalks and deliberately harass pedestrians who get in their way, who are hit or who have groceries kicked out of there hands.
