Liberal leadership debate coming to Thunder Bay

Ontario Liberal leadership candidates are coming to Thunder Bay to debate their merits to lead the party once Premier Dalton McGuinty steps down.

Ontario Liberal leadership candidates are coming to Thunder Bay to debate their merits to lead the party once Premier Dalton McGuinty steps down.

Party officials have said the debate, one of five the candidates will take part in between now and the leadership convention beginning January 12, will begin at 1 p.m., though they have yet to name a location.

Seven candidates have put their name forward, including Eric Hoskins, Gerard Kennedy, Glen Murray, Sandra Pupatello, Charles Sousa, Harinder Takhar and Kathleen Wynne.

The Thunder Bay debate is second on a list that also includes Ingersoll, Ottawa, Ajax and Toronto.
