Thunder bay Public Library Media Release
www.tbpl.ca
(Thunder Bay, ON) -- Monday, August 17, 2015 - Thunder Bay Public Library (TBPL) has a new, redesigned website. The address of the website remains unchanged at www.tbpl.ca
The website has been redesigned to be easy to use on any device including smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktops. Sharing information from the site is now easier too - with links to share on popular social media sites and email on every page.
The Library website is available 24/7. It is TBPL's virtual branch, featuring access to the Library catalogue, databases of magazine & newspaper articles, learning resources, eBooks, an events calendar, movies, music, audiobooks and local history resources. Library members may also access their Library records online to facilitate renewals, holds and so much more.
The website also features places where users may make a suggestion, book a computer, share comments, ask questions and request items through inter-library loan.
Joanna Aegard, Head of Virtual Library Services, looks forward to receiving feedback from users of the site so that it can be continually improved to meet the increasingly complex online demands of Library users.
