The Lac Des Mille Lac First Nation is throwing a free concert this Sunday at Fort William Historical Park, with the goal of raising awareness to combat hate related issues.
The Live Free concert will have six EDM style artists.Thunder Bay will be providing the talents of Sydney Blue, DJ Black Sheep and Classic Roots, while a tribe called Red will headline the show.
According to Project and Research Manager for the Lac Des Mille Lac First Nation, Anthony Maunula, bringing people together to learn about issues of respect and diversity is just one of the ways to stop hate.
The concert will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, and finish at 11.
Maunula anticipates several thousand people will be in attendance.
