THUNDER BAY -- There's something about electronic dance music that brings people together, and Sunday night, it did just that.

The second annual Live Free, Live Righteous Concert was held tonight at Fort William Historical Park.

Last year's event drew 3,000 people and Sunday’s concert is also expected to bring in a huge crowd.

The purpose of the concert is to encourage positive social growth and to promote equality, respect and diversity.

The event promotes messages of anti-racism, anti-hate, anti-bullying and gender and sexual equality.

The name, Live Free, Live Righteous is about being authentic to yourself.

Participant Angela Casey said that wearing crazy outfits, dancing all night and connecting with others is what electronic dance music is all about.
