LU nets $2.6 million in research grants

THUNDER BAY -- Lakehead University professors and students will have plenty of support for their research projects over the next few years. LU has received a total of $2.6 million in research grants.

THUNDER BAY -- Lakehead University professors and students will have plenty of support for their research projects over the next few years. 

LU has received a total of $2.6 million in research grants. 

The money is coming from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. 

Among the projects being funded are green technologies for wastewater treatment, and the examination of minerals near Marathon.
