There's another challenger for the NDP nomination in the Thunder Bay-Atikokan riding.
Madge Richardson is aiming to be the candidate to take on Liberal MPP Bill Mauro in the next provincial election.
Richardson is the former mayor of Schreiber, and she's currently the executive director of the North Superior Workforce Planning Board.
The other person seeking the nomination for the party is Mary Kozorys, who ran for the NDP in the last election in 2011.
Another potential nominee, George Saarinen, has apparently dropped out of the race.
A date for a nomination meeting has not yet been set.
