Thunder Bay has scored a major conference that will include delegates from 95 different municipalities in Canada and the U.S.
The City has been selected to host the 2014 Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative Annual Conference. About 250 people from both sides of the border will take part, including many mayors who will be visiting the city for the first time.
The 2013 conference will be held in Marquette, Michigan, followed by Thunder Bay in June 2014.
