FORT FRANCES, Ont. - A man was arrested after a Tuesday morning standoff.
OPP officers were called to a Sixth Street West residence in Fort Frances around 9:30 a.m. to check on the well-being of a resident, with a man barricading himself in the house when they arrived.
Police set up a perimter around the home, which also involved school officials implementing a hold and secure policy.
The man was taken into custody around 10:30 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing with the Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit involved.
