THUNDER BAY -- A 40-year-old man is facing two murder charges stemming from a Dec. 27 fire on Brant Street.
The Thunder Bay Police Service alleges the incident that claimed the lives of 60-year-old Wilfred Pott and 50-year-old Anne Chuchmuch was a double homicide.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, has been charged with two counts of second degree murder, arson endangering life and one count of committing an indignity to a dead body.
Police spokesman Chris Adams has committed to updating media on the case on Jan. 18.
