(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Kenora man following a traffic complaint.
On Sunday July 19, 2015 shortly after 9:00 pm, OPP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on the south side of Kenora.
Police attended the area and located a male sitting in the front seat of his running vehicle. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. He was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests. While in police custody, the male also caused damage to property inside the detachment.
As a result of this investigation, A 42-year-old Kenora man has been charged with Care or Control While Impaired, Care or Control Over 80 mgs and Mischief under $5,000 of the Criminal Code (CC).
He is to appear in Kenora Court on September 10, 2015 to answer to the charges.
