Man arrested with replica handgun outside Polish Legion

A report of a man in possession of a handgun at the Polish Legion on Simpson Street has led to the arrest of an unnamed male suspect. Police say they responded to a call on Friday night at about 10 p.m.

A report of a man in possession of a handgun at the Polish Legion on Simpson Street has led to the arrest of an unnamed male suspect.

Police say they responded to a call on Friday night at about 10 p.m. regarding a man who had been observed with a handgun in his pocket. The suspect was located in the area of the reason and taken into custody without incident.

A replica handgun was recovered during the arrest.

The investigation continues.
