A Thunder Bay Police Service officer went to the hospital after a 45-year-old-man allegedly bit his hand.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Holly Crescent residence on Saturday. Police say the 45-year-old-man appeared to have been drinking and was uncooperative during the arrest and allegedly bit the one of the officers on the hand.
The officer went to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre for treatment.
Police charged the man with assaulting a police officer and is expected in court on May 30.
