THUNDER BAY -- An altercation in a south side apartment building that caused a male victim to be hospitalized has resulted in an aggravated assault charge against a 35-year-old man.
Thunder Bay police were called to an apartment building in the 200 block of Cumming Street on Monday night after receiving reports that a man had been assaulted in the hallway. Officers arrived and found the male victim in need of medical attention.
The victim was taken to hospital.
Officers arrested a 35-year-old man at the scene and charged him with one count of aggravated assault.
He appeared in court Tuesday morning and remains in custody.
