THUNDER BAY – City police have made an arrest in connection with a weapons call incident that took place early Sunday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a home in the 300 block of Brodie Street just before 3 a.m. following a report that two males entered the home possibly armed with firearms.
During the investigation, police were able to identify one of the males involved who had entered the home to rob the residents.
On Monday, police were assisting an ambulance for a medical matter involving the identified suspect.
The accused was transported to the Thunder Bay Police station after being treated at the hospital.
Steven Christopher Hogan, 31, has been charged with robbery using a firearm, unauthorized possession of firearm – licence, possession of imitation weapons for dangerous purpose.
He appeared in court Tuesday and was remanded into custody with a future court date.
