THUNDER BAY -- A local man faces three charges after a weekend crash.
Last Saturday, a blue Ford Focus crossed the centre line on Arthur Street and hit a grey Mazda sedan.
The Mazda was then hit by an approaching vehicle. Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 66-year-old man has been charged with careless driving, driving while suspended and failing to wear a seatbelt.
“Had his vehicle been salvageable, it would have been impounded for seven days as a consequence of driving while under suspension,” a police news release states.
An investigation of the crash shut down that part of Arthur Street for several hours.
