A 64-year-old Thunder Bay man faces charges after allegedly defrauding an elderly city woman.
Police say the 83-year-old victim lost more than $12,000 over a one-year period.
The accused reportedly gained access to the funds while providing assistance to the woman running errands and helping with her banking.
