Police charged a 34-year-old-man from Pickle Lake with assault after he allegedly assaulted two other officers.
A man standing outside the Northern Store parking lot on Koval Street flagged down OPP officers around 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Police say they saw a group of individuals who appeared intoxicated.
Police say they were yelling and swearing at the officers.
The officers went to arrest one of the men for public intoxication but during the arrest, police say the man allegedly assault the two officers.
The officers weren’t injured during the incident.
The man was held for bail and will appear in court on Monday in Sioux Lookout.
