A Seine River First Nation man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after a body was found at a Fort Frances motel last year.
Police ruled the Nov. 2, 2012 death of 45-year-old Seine River First Nation resident Leo Whitecrow as suspicious and a post-mortem was subsequently conducted.
Twenty-six-year-old Peter Deafy was arrested on Wednesday and taken into custody to face the charge.
The accused remains in police custody and expected to be back in court on Thursday.
