Police in Kenora say they’ve arrested a 28-year-old Washagamis Bay man after a weekend break-in and assault.
Officials from the Kenora detachment of the OPP say officers responded to reports of a robbery at a First Street South apartment in that community on Saturday around 10 p.m.
Officers learned that suspects had entered the apartment and threatened the people living there.
The suspects left the apartment after stealing a undisclosed amount of cash.
Police later arrested and charged a 28-year-old man with robbery and assault with a weapon.
Police say they will continue to investigate the incident.
