Man found with head injury leads to assault investigation

(KENORA, ON)  Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Northwest Region Crime Unit and the Kenora Forensic Identification Unit are investigating a possible assault on a male in the City of Kenora.

On Tuesday July 7, 2015 around 4:00 pm, members of the Kenora OPP received a report of an injured male in the area of the baseball diamonds on Fifth St South in Kenora. 

Police and ambulance attended and located a 53 year old male victim suffering from head injuries.  The male was transported to hospital and is in stable condition. 

The investigation is continuing.
