THUNDER BAY – A man remains in the hospital with extensive injuries and two men have been arrested following a north-side home invasion.
Police remain at the scene in the 100 block of Banning Street after a 43-year-old man after an altercation at his home around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The two accused were found by the Thunder Bay Police Service on McTavish Street later that evening. The victim is in stable condition with serious injuries.
27-year-old Christopher Daniel McKay and 31-year-old Michael James McCrady are charged with robbery. McCrady is also charged with breach of probation.
A neighbour told Dougall Media reporters that the victim had lived in the house for three to four years and there haven't been any other incidents in the time he's lived there.
