A man involved in a weekend crash near Kenora sustained life-threatening injuries and was sent to a Winnipeg hospital.
Police with the Kenora detachment of the OPP responded to a reported single-vehicle collision on Highway 671, about 30 kilometres north of Highway 17A, just after midnight Sunday.
Police found a vehicle had left the highway and struck a hydro pole.
Two men were still inside the vehicle when officers arrived on scene.
Paramedics removed the two occupants from the vehicle and transported them to Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
The driver, a 48-year-old man from Grassy Narrows was transferred to Winnipeg with life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 35-year-old man who is also from Grassy Narrows, remains at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the collision continues.
