THUNDER BAY – A 36-year-old man is now in custody following a break in at an office supply store early Monday morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officials say an intercity area business was the target of a break and enter overnight.

The owner of the business responded to an alarm at the 500 block of Central Avenue just before 1 a.m. Police were later called and learned the owner had a brief struggle with a man who was inside the store.

The suspect fled in a pickup truck, which had been used to smash into the front window.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

Police say Jeremy Edgar Bisson, 36, was arrested after patrol officers stropped his vehicle just before 4 a.m. on Balsam Street.

Bisson has been charged with break and enter, and possession of a break and enter instrument.

He has been remanded into custody.

His next court appearance is scheduled for March 17.
