Man struck

A man was sent to the hospital Thursday with serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while snow blowing his driveway on Hwy 61. Around 11:45 a.m., OPP responded to the collision near Riverdale Road.

A man was sent to the hospital Thursday with serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while snow blowing his driveway on Hwy 61.

Around 11:45 a.m., OPP responded to the collision near Riverdale Road.

The driver of a northbound Toyota Corolla lost control and struck the 71-year-old man who was clearing the area around his mailbox with a snow blower.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, however, the car sustained extensive damage.

The investigation is ongoing.
