Man suffers broken arm after being robbed on the city's south side

A 67-year-old man was attacked and beaten on the city’s south side around midnight Saturday. The man was robbed by two males while walking alone in the 200 block of Cameron Street around 12:02 a.m. Saturday.

A 67-year-old man was attacked and beaten on the city’s south side around midnight Saturday.

The man was robbed by two males while walking alone in the 200 block of Cameron Street around 12:02 a.m. Saturday.

The suspects stole the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and treated for his injuries, including a broken arm. He remains in the hospital.

Thunder Bay Police are asking anyone with information on this incident, including the identity of the suspects, to call police or Crime Stoppers.
