OPP News Release
(KENORA, ON) On Sunday August 9, 2015 just before 2:00 pm, Kenora OPP received a report of a male entering a wooded area in the Ninth Street North area carrying what appeared to be a rifle.
Police attended and located a male fitting the description, with the suspect firearm. He was taken into custody by police and the investigation revealed the gun to be a legal air rifle.
The 23 year old man from Edmonton, Alberta was released unconditionally.
