On Monday, November 14 at approximately 2:30 p.m. a farm tractor that was towing a manure trailer was travelling east bound on John Street Road when it turned left in front of a pickup truck that was travelling in the opposite direction, causing the pickup to collide with the tractor.
The driver of the pickup truck had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Both occupants from the pickup truck were transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Center by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the farm tractor did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
The driver of the tractor was charged under the Highway Traffic Act- Turn Not in Safety.
