Deborah Massaro has been elected chair of the Lakehead District School Board.
The board made the announcement on Tuesday night, following a scheduled annual meeting. At the same time George Saarinen was named vice-chair of the board.
Other positions determined at the meeting included Marg Arnone being named a member of the co-ordinating committee and Ellen Chambers being named an alternate to the co-ordinating committee.
